Operas and symphonies are among those that we regretted not having done in Austria, for it is what this country is known for. Although all types of music are popular in Austria, its classical music stands out from the rest.

Time was something me and my friends have more than money. Travelling nowadays would surely keep your pockets empty, but cry not for there are cheap travels in Austria that offers just the same fun and excitement! Using the time that we had, we walked, hiked and biked the countryside to experience the tranquility nature in Austria offers.

Our first stop happens to be Vienna, Austria. Vienna is among those cities in Austria that is regarded as the most interesting and pleasant cities. This is where Austria found the key to a timeless, romantic and enchanting getaway in Vienna. Second stop in Austria was Salzburg. In 2006, Salzburg, Austria celebrated Mozart’s 250th birthday, and as a token of the city’s undying love for the Master, Salzburg, Austria continues to provide an impressive setting and presentation of the Master’s accomplishments and music. Music has been an essential part of the history of this city. Any music lover would surely love to live here in Austria, only of course, if he does have an appreciation for Mozart’s music. Austria made a monument for Mozart in Mozart Square where its statue is call the Mozartplatz.

Fans of Baroque architecture must visit the Old Salzburg’s Town for it showcases one of a kind architectural design. As we were strolling this old town, the Cathedral Square would surely not miss your attention as well as the former home of the Prince and Archbishops of Salzburg, the impressive Residenz Palace.

On the other hand, shopaholics like us wandered along the Getreidegasse to find the best buys in shopping. We can start dreaming from here since we would love to go skiing in Innsbruck, Austria but our wallet cried enough! Innsbruk, our third stop was twice chosen to host the winter Olympics.

We also dreamed to  go to Graz, Kalgenfurt, Eisenstadt , Bregenz  and Linz, Austria but we can no longer afford to do so, but for those of you who are not in a tight budget, feel free to wander around Austria and discover the fun we had in visiting  these cities.
