Luxembourg City is the capital of Luxembourg. It is also known to be the heart of social and political of its country. It is also known as the Gibraltar of the north. The Ville haute or the high city in Luxembourg is also known as the core of its medieval times. The low city or the ville basse in Luxembourg is located in the gap that cuts itself across the city and the most striking places in the city. Last is the Kirchberg, it is the modern city of Luxembourg. This part of Luxembourg is filled with European buildings located after the red bridge at the east.
When you’re at Luxembourg the best ways to learn and enjoy its beautiful surroundings is by having a bus ride or just walk. Walking at Luxembourg won’t be a drag, due to its small size and the nice scenery is worth your sweat. Luxembourg also offers self service bikes that are located at its own stations at the city. Luxembourg has its own bus station and all busses passes through Hamillius the central bus station.

If you’re a rugby and football fanatic this is the place for you. This bar is crowded during international rugby and football events but very cozy and a nice place to have a pint.

This restaurant is known for its great chefs as they prepare Japanese and Chinese style cuisine before your very eyes including ceiling-high flames and an “egg show”.
After all those walking, talking and dining at Luxembourg it is definitely a good place to look for its own hotels. Though hotels at Luxembourg are a bit pricy and full depending on the season they definitely are worth your money. The Luxembourg Youth Hostel is a 10 minute ride from the city central and also known to have a nice and friendly environment and atmosphere.
But if you are looking for another alternative, the Ibis Luxembourg Sud is located just south of the city and visible from the highway.
If you like camping and enjoying nature a camping site is located outside Luxembourg just a five hour drive outside the city. Luxembourg city is known to be more peaceful place compared to other European countries.
