London is the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Aside for its great ambience and romantic setting, London is the perfect place that is depicted in the song White Christmas. White and bright, London really is glowing in Christmas season. A priceless lightshow in Oxford, even the streets are lit with candle light bulbs and lights. Don’t forget the parks and restaurants glowing to showing the world how brightly the people in London celebrate Christmas.

The Trafalgar Square benefits from a huge Christmas tree each year as a present from Norway for the country’s help during the Second World War. Every Christmas this tree is filled with full flashed lights.

In Oxford, the longest and busiest shopping street in London every Christmas you will find your Christmas gifts and materials that you will love. The items are priced less than the original for it’s a treat for the Christmas holiday.
Although most known places in London are close this holiday like the Tower of London and also the busses are closed in this time of year but don’t worry because London is a walkable city. You might enjoy London better thru feet.

A Christmas shopping experience in London depends on how much you want to spend on it. For controlled budget the street of Oxford is the place of John Lewis, an all time favorite by Londoners. This is an old establishment building known for its wide range of choices like quality household goods; it also sells labels like Dior, Chanel and Gucci. They are famous for their slogan ‘we are never knowingly undersold’.

For those people who don’t have to control their budget the Liberty and Hamley are the two leading stores in London. The Liberty in London is known as the most popular department store in London and is also known to have high quality Christmas gifts, they also have oriental goods and fine British fabrics. The greatest thing that Liberty can offer its shoppers is the unique craftsmanship and fabrics that the people in London adore. Signature products by Liberty are well known Christmas present in London. The Hamley started in 1700 where the owner first started selling gas lights. Now Hamley is known to produce great quality of toys. Since it has grown to be the biggest toy shop in the world parents often bring their kids here to have a full choice toys they want to have. These two places are called the Regent Street of shopping in London where only the high classed people go. The word ‘elegant’ is often used when referring to Regent Street. It is long and curving and lined with grand Regency buildings. It’s a London tradition to come to Regent Street for the Christmas lights. The best way to see them is from an upstairs’ seat of a double-decker bus, preferably at the front.

Shopping in London is a great experience it fulfillment money can’t buy. Enjoy the Christmas shopping.

London is easily one of the world’s leading destinations given it’s great involvement in business, politics, fashion, entertainment, education, media and the arts. London is also a major tourist destination with many of the city’s iconic landmarks drawing thousands each day. If you’re planning to make a trip to be immersed in London, you can find a wide variety of London hotels that can cater to your needs. Everything from cheap hotels to the upscale properties can always be found near must see attractions.

London hotels themselves are a sight to see. Even the London hotels that are cheap can often be some of the best. Then there are the famous London hotels, the historic London hotels and the boutique London hotels.

If you’re looking for hotel accommodations that wouldn’t hurt your pocket, there are a lot of London hotels that can be booked for under $100. These London hotels are small and often run by families but they are friendly and comfortable. These London hotels provide basic but clean furnishings and facilities.

If you are going sightseeing, look for clean budget London hotels in Hyde Park as most top attractions are nearby. If you’re looking for fun, look for London hotels in the West End. If it’s business you’re after, best try to find a cheap London hotel in Central London.

If you have money to spend and are looking for some of the best accommodations, some of the famous London hotels may be for you. From amongst the different kinds of London hotels, the famous ones are the ones that reflect the classic English traditions. These London hotels include The Ritz, The Savoy, The Langham London and The Dorchester. These London hotels offer some of the most sophisticated services and accommodations and are often visited by the most distinguished people around the world. They are of course, located near the attractions, fashion districts and business districts of the city so everything is pretty much right at your doorstep. These London hotels don’t always have to be expensive though as there are some travel packages that can be availed of that offer up to 50% discount.

If you prefer to have some history involved in your trip, there are also a lot of historic London hotels you can choose from. These London hotels are also considered to be some of the world’s most desirable places to stay at. Historic London hotels not only boast of elegance but also showcase great works of art.

My favorite among the historic London hotels is the Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel, which has housed many film premieres, has a very classical era feel. You can easily stroll to a restaurant serving dishes from around the globe, trendy shops, watch outdoor theater or a street dance party during weekends.

Some of the other historic London hotels worth staying at include the Rocco Forte Browns Hotel, The Landmark London and The Waldorf Hilton. All of which are just walking distance from fancy restaurants, trendy shops and some of London’s best attractions.

Wherever you decide to stay or whatever budget you may have, there’s sure to be a London hotel to suit your taste.

Who would have thought that London, United Kingdom the home of British royals, would no longer need deep pockets to enjoy and experience the best of the United Kingdom? This has been made possible thanks to the low exchange rate with pound.

The only advice to save some dough here in United Kingdom is that you’re sure to find something along your way that you definitely would want to spend on. Don’t forget to say thanks to British pound hovering at a five (or six?) year low against the U.S. dollar!

This is the perfect time to go shopping in the United Kingdom! Not only are the stuff cheap, but the outdoor concerts and trip to United Kingdom’s most significant galleries come free! Anyone would go bananas with this kind of United Kingdom.

One tip to pinch pounds from London, United Kingdom’s blockbuster sites is a stop by Evensong worship services if you’re looking for free access to chorale music. Then you sure can find your way to the nave where the tombs of kings, queens, poets and national heroes who’ve been buried there for the past 800 years still in the United Kingdom.

If you’re after the royal kicks, enjoy it by watching the Changing of the Guard, every other day at 11:30am. Do this in front of Buckingham Palace, as the queen’s personal guards do their thing. Imagine a photo with the guards in the United Kingdom!

Marathon seekers should consider investing in London Pass, which buys them free entry to the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace and Shakespeare’s Globe, plus 50 more attractions all for free! Now that is United Kingdom, full of freebies! It would only cost you 40 pounds, but is worth it if you’re staying for more than a few days.

London, United Kingdom being the most expensive country in the world according to reports surprisingly has cheap offers even for the family! The kids can enjoy the Tower of London in United Kingdom for a start. The fairy tales they’ve been long dreaming and fantasizing about will finally come to life as they get to see the old castle and crown jewels cradled by United Kingdom.

Don’t get too excited as to not drop by at the nearby and famous United Kingdom Bridge, Buckingham Palace and Kensington. Head for the London Dungeons that displays the gruesome methods of torture used in this former prison in United Kingdom.

Your pounds will definitely go far as you visit the south side part of the river to the Vauxhall City Farm instead of the expensive Regent’s Park Zoo still in United Kingdom. Entry is cheaper as it is free on Wednesdays to Sundays. Not only will your kids love getting to pet the animals but also get lessons in pony grooming and the fun picnicking on the lawn enjoying the nature of United Kingdom.

The Science Museum in the United Kingdom on the other hand offers interactive exhibit designed for kids. This isn’t much yet of where I’ve been through and what I had in the land of freebies United Kingdom, but I sure hope you’d enjoy your own trip to London, United Kingdom!

The price tag of a London vacation in summer has dropped to the lowest point in years. There are a lot of discounts available due to the competition and lighter tourism bookings during a London vacation in summer. Travel deals for a London vacation in summer include up to 50% discounts for upscale hotels and roundtrip flights should you choose a London vacation in summer. Apart from that, a London vacation in summer has been affected by the exchange rate which has shifted in favor of the US dollar. This is probably why a lot of tourists are willing to make the long trip to have a London vacation in summer.

Having a London vacation in summer will prove to be a great deal not only for your pocket but also for travel indulgences. Musicals, theater, shopping, and timeless attractions are just some of the things that awaits during London vacation in summer.
